Nasturtium was born out of a of passion for design. My sister and I opened our doors in 2004 and we've been going strong ever since. Sure, we've had a few hiccups along the way but our loyal customers, who have truly become our friends, have helped us stay strong and continue our passion for the store. 

Nasturtium started as a home decor marketplace, with an emphasis on all things tabletop. We wanted to focus on tableware because we love to entertain.     We love our small town of Princeton-by-the-Sea, California but there were no home decor shops in our area. We wanted to change that and create store with beautiful, unique products that fit our coastal yet chic lifestyle.  

Our physical store on the California Coast has changed a little since we opened 10 years ago. We've expanded and definitely diversified our products. We now feature local artists who create unique products just for our customers. My sister and I have also had the opportunity to travel and after each trip, we come back home with a new product for our customers. We travel extensively throughout the United States to search for products because we love to support our local and national economy as much as possible.

We also realize that there are many other beautiful countries that have a lot of culture to offer. So once a year my sister and I make a point of traveling to a different country and finding something new for our customers. We feel so fortunate to be able to do this and to share a part of that country with you. I will post pictures of our travels on our new blog which you can find right here.
